Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated outcome based approach used to reduce interfering behaviors such as self-injurious and tantrum behaviors, and to enhance socially significant behaviors like functional communication, social skills, play and self-help skills. Our ABA services are overseen by a Pediatric Psychologist and care is implemented under the direct supervision of a Louisiana Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and updating treatment plans and goals, and providing ongoing training and support to the Registered Line Technicians who implement the treatment plans.
At Care Tec, we use a multidisciplinary approach to improve the lives of children diagnosed with diverse mental health issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other developmental disabilities. Although we serve children with multiple needs, our main focus is to provide services for children on the spectrum.
Our ultimate goal is to provide the highest level of clinical expertise as a means to foster socially significant behaviors, and to create a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families that we serve.
