PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapy assists in early detection and diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of injuries, disorders and diseases that affect the muscles, bones and joints of infants, children, and adolescents. Treatment focus on improving gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination, strength and endurance.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapists help to develop the skills necessary to transition from childhood into adulthood to lead an independent and rewarding life. They provide intervention in the following areas: Fine Motor/Handwriting Skills, Play and Socialization, Sensory Integration, Oral Motor Functioning, Self-Help, Hygiene, as well as cognitive and sensory processing and integration. We currently offer Diagnistic Evaluation of Dyslexia and can provide treatment by experienced certified Dyslexia therapists!
SPEECH THERAPY
Speech Therapists help children to become successful communicators and independent language learners. Developing communication skills is one of the most important elements to socializing and creating valuable relationships. For the child faced with speech impairments or delays or issues such as dyslexia, it is necessary to provide strategies and resources that will assist with daily communication with the .parents, siblings, teachers and friends. Our Speech Language Pathologists also have decades of specialized training in the dingos is and treatment of Dyslexia and a variety of feeding and swallowing issues for both children and adults.
DIETETICS
Our Registered Dietitian offers comprehensive nutritional evaluation and services while working closely with our multidisciplinary team, provides medical nutrition therapy through assessments, education, and consultations. Our expert professional dietitian's primary goal is to provide and assist the children and families with a nutrition care plan and the educational guidance for implementing strategies to enhance the health of a child during each unique stage of development. The dietician can also offer consultation and can make recommendations for adults experiencing swallowing or other dietary issues.
